Eric Watters The speeds in your PIREP make no sense. Help us understand them please.
Eric Watters FYI, your other approved MD-80 flight PIREPs did not have this issue.
John Bauder I had some sort of issue with my sim that wasn’t discovered well into descent. The altitude indicator stopped ap 19k feet and my plane malfunctioned over multiple systems e.g. wouldn’t descend in IAS or VNAV. I did not have any proper speed indication as well. I just landed blindly as best I could manually. I too don’t believe these speeds are accurate but something weird was happening and I didn’t want to re-do the flight because of an issue that happened literally over the arrival field. I hope this helps. I’ll be a little sad if you have to reject it but old enough to know life goes on even with a discontinuity.
John Bauder The first flight didn’t have any issue being it was the first flight. My sim was restarted before the third. I think the main cause was running the middle flight as a turnaround and, in X-Plane, some aircraft just can’t do that well.
